+Da was a communication design and marketing project developed during my studies in ecosocial design. We collaborated with the citizens cooperative DA from upper Vinschgau, a region of southtyrol. The goal was to develop a communication concept to showscase the hidden values behind the fair, local and organic groceries the cooperative produces. I worked in a team with two other students and after an intense research phase of deeply getting to know the farmers of the cooperative, the region they live in, their values and visions and the production processes, we developes a concept for the market stand of the coop.

The concept included a redesign of the signs and paperbags present at the market stand and the development of a way finding sign as an informational tool showing the processes behind the products and introducing the farmers. For both, the product design and the Illustrations, which where developed by me, the inspiration was taken from the architectural style of the upper val venosta, which is based on simple and natural shapes, the focus on longlasting and natural materials such as stone, wood and metal and with an absence of ornaments and bright colors.

In
